About Tessaiga > The breeder

The Otaku and fans of Anime / Manga have suspected, by the names chosen for our shiba , that I am a faithful followers of some of the most well-known mangaka (漫画家) Japanese !
My reference sites increased from those of closely topic of dog breeding to those of the manga. If tomorrow the site mangapanda.com closed, I would put the colors of mourning the site!
My other passion is food, specifically the Ramen, and so I think: "Dear Kishimoto , reading your works, we hardly knew ! "
My passion for the Ramen is so strong that in the classical mei trips to Japan ( an average of 72 hours of stay where I can do everything, from tourism to guide canine science ! ) Port myself and those who accompany you in an exceptional RAMEN TOUR .
I admit that often friends or colleagues who are with me exercising great patience and great culinary Zen spirit in this . If I choose the hotel or ryokan with Japanese breakfast and ramen in the morning. Recently I have also been involved in the export : to help agencies to broker business for the export of food made in Italy , very different experience than import . So you know very well that the food, the ramen manga and the shiba are three things very serious very serious for me !
My dog-loving life in Japan was divided in time : From the pedigree of Sayuki I made a cultural journey that has led me to consocenza and contact with Nippo Club, of which I am still a member , in a time when in Italy no one knew what it was. We must consider that Italy has always been a country strongly Akitista , and the tradition and culture of the shiba is pretty recent ... you can say that a revolution was started in 2006 with Sayuki winner in Helsinki . Why do I say this ? because you will not find anything published before Sayuki which concerns a purely shibista culture . Suffice it to say that the first judge shibista was invited to Italy in 2007 to monographic Cirn 2007 where I was Vice President of the Chamber Cirn ! The first shibsita Italian team at the grand national was Tessaiga IN 2008 ! Visits that are then repeated often over the years and in edizioni.Il First posted Nippo is the registered Tessaiga as well as the first litter famous Italian ever recorded in 2008.
Always the promoter of the Nippo style in 2010 I get the official edition for Italy and at the same time even the patronage of Mipaaf as well as greetings embassy in Rome. Several times a Nipponsai with the dogs and the Nippon consul in Milan, as a promoter of this style and these lines , as well as the entity that protects the oldest breed standard . Last year, the Grand National 2013 I, with the farm team of CastelFalcino ( Stephen Sardonini & Cristina Geminiani ) who accompanied me in my usual Ramen Tour, I was invited to host the surprise and vice pres. Judges Nippo mr Iwasa and general manager Mr. Uki for several hours with the intent to promote the common Nippo style as a point of reference in the selection shiba Europe. Just on this trip we had a wonderful tour of the farms more classic and traditional . Just for my friends and I chose mediated in previous trips Taisho , already amazing in the ring, genealogy Black and Tan coveted and prestigious yet obtained from different farms in northern Europe. Of all imports made , I believe that this was not only the most complex from the organizational point of view ( Taisho is born in a kennel that does NOT export to the West ), but also for the many against this interference that imports were made both here and over there . Import dogs from Japan is easier than you think , really important import dogs ever !
About Taisho want to quote Mr. Iwasa , vice president Nippo judges , who had the news made me personally congratualzioni saying " Elettra this was Europe 's most important and incredible import of all time, I still feel amazing that you've imported this dog . " Needless to say that I agree with him!
That said , the contacts with the various Japanese shiba breeders over the years have been many and each has resulted in a cultural and stylistic evolution of dogs. Often, as I mentioned I'm a broker and I choose , as a technical consultant , dogs for Japanese fans and breeders both Italian and foreign . This activity is also due to the ability of brokers on my small numbers to use in my work choices of selection lines . Not a few shiba who have been chosen by me , imported and then used in the Tessaiga but then other property. This also comes from the confidence that I myself , and who has worked with me in the project " Tetsusaiga " . The fact remains that every generation that add style while keeping type , every generation that keeps me from generation 0 of imported dogs is a generation that confirms a real work of selection in morphological quality and health , and this is the goal of a breeder: see the beauty in dogs bred for many generations. Another story is that akita . In this context, I often help , as a broker , Italian breeders and recently also foreign ones to find the lines they need for their selection steps , thanks not only to the reliability of contacts built up over the years and co brokers in Japan, but also to the development of a protocol that includes testing import exemption dysplasia before the exit from Japan. This protocol is an important guarantee for a breeder to buy directly in Japan with safety a healthy gene pool of a breed so complex as the akita . In this context, I must say that it gave me great satisfaction to have helped the importation of even a Meyosho Brindle on behalf of foreign breeders : although not my race I must say I take the leash one, even for a short period , it is was a real thrill !
The relationship with Japan is therefore not a tourist but a dynamic relationship of cultural exchange through what is the world of agriculture and livestock . This is the beauty and privilege to be able to live fully and in a way participating in a culture so different and so fascinating as that of Japan in a vision of continuous reciprocal exchange .
