Tessaiga is little Kennel situated near Bologna and Ravenna.

Tessaiga kennel is a Team: I take care of breeding program, Massimo take care of logistic problems and organization of our show programs and Daniela, Massimo's wife, our Puppy-sitter (Nursery Manager!)

Shiba is our first, only breed and only love!

Often, in Italy, Shiba is the second breed in kennel, the little lovely breed in kennel.

As you know, Shiba likes to stay in first placement in to the house and in to the heart. This is exactly the placement in our house and in our heart !

Our goal wants to be to show and propuose the Nippo style in my country. Italian tradition has wonderful level and knowledge of japanese Akita but Nippo Style is new goal for us in Shiba. So it's very amazing to start a work on this fantastic breed towards Nippo Style, here.

In my opinion purebreed-breeder has always responsability towards healh of breed and of each dogs from own kennel.So we take care to bred a dog only when all health-test are full-done and not before full - developed of dog.

Temperament is important exactly as health. 

Really excellent Stud or Female is a well health of body and mind and so, our breeding program include only excellent shiba!  :-)

Our breeding program is a slow and full project on breed.

This is not simply and not easy, but very very interesting because the world of shiba is very wide and complicate so it's possible to find and learn always something of new !

Our Shiba live in house with us and have very busy life with us and our family.

Sometime we are happy to bred high quality litters.

We wish only qualifiated home and Show-home for our Shibas.
